UPVC and Kitchen FAQ

Can we only spray onto UPVC?

No we can spray onto almost anything. All UPVC, composite, wood and metals can be sprayed and will last the test of time.

How much does a kitchen respray cost?

All kitchens can vary in price. We have completed vanity units that have cost as little as £300 to complete to a larger kitchen costing up to £2900 . It all depends on the size of the kitchen you have and what finish you are wanting.

When do we spray kitchens?

We spray kitchens all year round along side spraying UPVC from spring to autumn.

Will our coatings flake or peel?

All the coatings we use have a 10 year guarantee against flaking and peeling. The surfaces we are working on under go a degreasing and scotching process to make sure the coatings have a molecular bond with the substrate. This will ensure that the coatings do not peel or flake.

What finishes do we offer?

We offer a range of different finishes for both UPVC and kitchen spraying, from matte to high gloss finishes. We will always work with the customer to make sure they get the finish they desire.

How long does a kitchen take us to complete?

A kitchen usually takes between 3 to 4 days to fully complete. However this all depends on the size of your kitchen.

How much does UPVC spraying cost?

All jobs are different but, you should budget for £110 per window and £250 to £325 per door. However we will provide a final quote once we have surveyed your property.

Can we respray
windows if they have already been done?

Yes we can respray any windows and doors that have previously been painted. We follow the same process as if they were not paint to ensure a flawless durable finish everytime.

How do we stop overspray from getting on to your property?

We make sure to carefully mask up and surface that is not being painted. This stops and overspray from getting on the customers property.

Is upvc spraying seasonal?

We can only spray your UPVC when the temperature is between 10 degrees and 32 degrees. anything below 10 degrees can result in the paint not bonding with the plastic properly. This may lead to problems further down the line. Our UPVC spraying season usually starts in March and ends in October.

How durable
is the paint we use ?

The coatings we use are extremely durable and will with stand knocks and bumps. however if something sharp like a stanley knife is ran across it then we would expect it to cause some kind of damage or scratch. If this was to happen we will always be happy to come out and repair the damaged area for a small fee.

How long
does UPVC spraying take?

We can turn around smaller projects such as doors in just a few hours. However larger projects such as a 3 bedroom house would take us around 2 days to complete.

What colours can you
choose from?

At Bespoke Finishings we offer a colour matching service which has a 99% accuracy. We are able to colour match to almost any colour and brand such as Farrow and Ball and Little Green.  So, if you have your eye something special don't worry we will be able to match it to your needs.

How long does it last?

All the coatings we use come with a 10 year guarantee against peeling, flaking and colour retention. All coatings we use are also waterproof. After the 10 years is up, the paint may still look like its just been done. However we cannot guarantee this.
